🌟 The Waxahachie FFA Chapter Officer Team had a great time attending the Area 8 FFA Chapter Leadership Conference in Corsicana! Officers attended workshops, participated in leadership development activities, connected with fellow FFA members, and represented Waxahachie ISD with pride. We want to give a big THANKS to our Alumni group and all those that have given to them! Thank you for all of the support this year. Not just raising money for these scholarships, but also raising money for supporting students that didn’t make sale, putting on our chapter show, as well as supporting the officers requests for food and snacks at their meetings and events. THANK YOU ALUMNI for all that you do for our Waxahachie FFA members!

Waxahachie FFA members spent the day yesterday and today assisting the Ellis County Texas Agrilife Extension services with their Ag Fun Day event that they host annually for district 4th graders.

We were honored on Tuesday night to award the first ever Mike Frisbee Excellence in Ag Mechanics Scholarships to two deserving young men, Kylan Maliska and Jaxon Volentine. This scholarship is intended to honor a great friend and supporter of the Waxahachie FFA Ag Mechanics program through investing in the youth that he was so passionate about investing himself in. We want to thank his two boys Kyan Frisbee and Cutter Frisbee for joining us and presenting these scholarships. And thank you to Mike’s wife, Jennifer Frisbee and his dear friend Brad Owens for helping make this all possible for these kids now and for years to come.

Last night, we celebrated another incredible year of growth, hard work, leadership, and success at the Waxahachie FFA Banquet!

Thank you to all of our members, parents, alumni, community supporters, sponsors, school staff, and friends who attended and helped make the evening so special. Your continued support allows our students to grow as leaders, serve their community, and pursue opportunities both in and out of the classroom.

We are proud of everything our members accomplished this year and grateful for everyone who plays a role in supporting agricultural education and FFA in Waxahachie. We can’t wait to see what next year holds!

Happy Mother’s Day to all our Moms out there! Thank you to the WISD Education Foundation for giving our Hachie Blooms Students the opportunity to create the center pieces for the WISD Education Foundation Gala on Friday night!
