We’re looking for young men ages 14-18 for masculine roles in our Nutcracker Pre-Show and Act I Party Scene.

No dance experience required for Party
Scene roles.

Partner dancing experience preferred for Pre-Show roles.
And no-you won’t have to commit to a thousand rehearsals!

Our Nutcracker cast needs young men ages 14–18 for masculine roles in our Pre-Show and Act I Party Scene.
And no—you don’t have to sign up for dance class or commit to a thousand rehearsals.

No dance experience required for Party Scene roles! For our Pre-Show, we’re especially looking for guys with partner dancing experience—ballroom, country/western, swing or similar.

Ever wonder what’s really happening inside a PreK dance class?

It might look like your dancer is pretending to be a flamingo, marching across the room, crawling like a crab, or playing a movement game—but there’s so much learning happening underneath the surface!

Through our Leap ‘N Learn curriculum, every activity is intentionally designed to build the foundations young dancers need: coordination, balance, strength, flexibility, musicality, listening skills, confidence, creativity, and age-appropriate dance technique.

Our dancers are learning foundational ballet movements, developing important motor skills, and beginning to understand how their bodies move—all in a way that is developmentally appropriate, engaging, and FUN.

Because at this age, play is how children learn—and it’s also where a lifelong love of dance begins.

We love getting to watch our littlest dancers learn, grow, and discover the magic of dance each week!
