Our last Fri-YAY-Day of the school year! 🙌☀️

We just want to reiterate how much we appreciate our Dunaway families working hard to fundraise for our school! It’s because of your efforts that we are able to give back to our students, teachers, & staff!! 🖤

A few other ways we were able to assist this Spring…
💚Helped pay for choir concert shirts.
💚Paid for half of Ms Day’s Class Field Trip to Paws for Reflection. 🐾
💚Provided snacks & waters to all of 3rd-5th grades for everyday they had STAAR testing.
💚Donated $300 for our end of year Book Fair, to make sure every kiddo was able to get a book! 📚
💚Provided lunch from Johnny Carinos for all teachers/staff on 4/26 during their lesson planning afternoon. 🍝

PTO was delighted to provide our AMAZING Kindergarten teachers with individual Dry Erase Boards for their classrooms for their small group times! They came to us with a need & we were so happy that we could make this happen for our Kinder team! 🙌

PTO is excited to spoil our kiddos next week!!

🍕🍕We are having a pizza party for grades 3-5 on Monday & grades K-2 on Wednesday!!
🍦🍦We will also be providing SNO-CONES for all the kids during our Day of Awesome on Tuesday!
We are so proud of our kiddos & how hard they’ve worked this year!! 💚💚💚
(***this pizza party will NOT take place of their lunch. Lunch will be as they normally have. The pizza party will be at 2:00***)

💛We decorated the lounge in fun summer “luau theme”! 🦩🌴🌺☀️
💛Provided a yummy Taco Bar 🌮 lunch catereted from Fuzzy’s!!
💛Showered Mrs Heimbuch with a fun gift basket & flowers for Principal’s Day!
💛Put together 3 “Growing Gift Cards Plant Baskets” & 2 additional baskets for giveaways!
Thank you Dunaway Teachers for all you do all year round for our kiddos! We appreciate the time, love, & knowledge you pour into our kiddos each day! 💚💚💚

Our Day of Awesome has been postponed until next Friday(12th) due to the wet grounds & more predicted rain. Hoping for clear skies on the 12th so we can enjoy our Day of Awesome! 🙌🤞🤞☀️☀️
