We are excited to welcome these new educators to the Innovative Teaching Coalition team for the upcoming school year. The team continues to grow, and it makes us so excited for what is to come!

It was a great day of learning at Region 10 for the AI Leadership Lab with Fried Tech and MagicSchool.ai! From thoughtful conversations to creating AI Assignment Guidance, we walked away with so many new ideas!

We loved honoring Discovery Education at our Partners in Education luncheon today in Waxahachie ISD. We appreciate everything Evan Sanchez and Jamie Long do for our students and teachers. They are the VERY BEST!

We love seeing innovative teaching coalition members lead their teams and students in innovation!! Shoutout to Lisa Elias and Tiffany Rodriguez and the rest of the 3rd grade team at Wilemon STEAM Academy for giving students real-life experiences while deepening learning! We had a great time visiting their market today and loved hearing students sell their creatted products!

Simpson Elementary 2nd graders took to interactive, tech-embedded station rotations all about insects to finish out their recent Reading unit!

English 2 is taking STAAR test review up a notch today with gamified experiences. From digital escape rooms to Jeopardy to Family Feud to Clue-style Mysteries, Waxahachie High School students were challenged with interactive games including reviews over revising and editing, STAAR vocabulary, and essay components. Well done, English 2 teachers!

Check out these evidence boards Mrs. Osteen’s 5th graders at Shackelford Elementary created based on their current reading unit. Students analyzed a suspect and created their “evidence” to show their reasoning after reading through Unit 8. Way to get your students engaged in their learning, Mrs. Osteen!!
