Down With Running

Have you put off achieving a new physical milestone? Get off your couch to start training for the first ever Cedar Bend Endurance Run

September 5th @ 8:00a.

The course is a 5k loop with a stocked aid station at each loop. Whether you want to try and hit 10 miles in the 4 hour event or 50 miles in the 8 hour event, this course will provide an epic opportunity. Although your goals are your own, there will be people out there supporting you along the way!

All proceeds will go toward the DwR mission - helping individuals with special needs achieve their physical goals.

Trisomy 21 miler. Done.
100+ mile week. Done.

This will sum it up for tonight.

Thank you to three speople that have continued to inspire my running journey. Andy, Nick, and Caleb. I don't know Andy and Caleb, but I have watched their stori s.from.afar. I spoke to Nick during the run tonight and he was on mile 60 of his run!

Because of guys like these, I can visualize the possibilities of what we can accomplish, get inspired, and share that with my kids.

Teachers are awesome (Period)

Kids are focused. They'll call you out if you mispronounce a word, skip a page, etc... I'd be less nervous in a stadium full of people.

But, we do things that make us uncomfortable for our kids :)
