A little home opener last night for JV/Reserve.

JV will play next Monday at home against Neb City.
Reserve will take the field next Thursday at Wahoo.

FALL SPORTS SEASON is here!!! Lady Viking Reserve Softball is hosting Gretna East in doubleheader action TONIGHT at WHS!!!

Last night at the Cougar Classic:

Game One vs Ralston
Win 5-4

Glassburner 3-3, 1 RBI
Thieman in ⭕️ 6 K’s and goes 2-3 at the plate

McCall (1-RBI), Tucker, Diaz (1-RBI) and Shepherd (1-RBI) all collect hits.

McCall puts down the sac bunt to walk it off.

Game 2 vs Omaha Gross
Loss 9-8

Up and down game defensively. Pitching and offense was solid, just not enough

14 hits and 8 runs for the team.
Jurey (3B), McCall, Glassburner, Tucker, and Riley (2B) all with multiple hits.
Jurjens with a 2B

Angle and Glassburner with 💣’s

We will be back at it for one more game Saturday. Time TBD with how the games shake out today with the weather.
