It’s been a strange school year, to say the least. We’ve had to adjust plans throughout the year, but we finally got the opportunity for *Cotton Bowl 2021* with this group!

Hello 2020-2021 7th Grade Families,

We have adjusted our supply list some. The WMS website will get updated also, but may take some time as we are all already trying to get a jump on the school year without really being together as a team. We also will be sending some of this via email. But to help you get a start - we thought we'd post it here.

We've made some changes to adjust to students having to carry a bag or supplies with them. We may have to learn as we go as to what works. In the past we've had separate binders for each core class, but are wanting students to have a bigger binder with folders/dividers to separate or to have some sort of trapper keeper.

Here is a current list:

An assignment notebook will be provided by WMS
Three boxes of tissues
Turn into your first period teacher the first week of school
1 Two inch binder with five folders or dividers OR a trapper keeper with five folders or dividers
1 pair of headphones/earbuds (does not have to be expensive)
*Must be compatible with school issued Chromebook
A scientific calculator (for science and math)
1 pack of college ruled paper
1 pack of graph paper
100 3x5 index cards
Correcting (red) pens (enough for the year)
Pencils (enough for the year)
Pencil box or pencil bag
Blue and/or black pens (enough for the year)
Highlighters
Two glue sticks
12 (or more) colored pencils
12 washable markers
4+ Expo dry erase markers
1 pair of kid-safe scissors

We are excited to meet the 7th graders soon in some form or another!

EMAIL REPEATS

If your email is anything like ours, you may receive several duplicates of previous emails sent by teachers.

They will all say sent today or the day you get them but we sent them all last week without knowing they were all hanging out in our server world somewhere just waiting to all send.

When they didn’t work, teachers then sent emails through another system that worked.

So now today - the day before we go “live” ... the repeats all decided to send. 😬

Here’s to lots of patience with technology and for sure, thankfulness for our health!
