The hallways have been a little quieter this week, but our hearts sure miss our students! 🖤💛

As we wrapped up another amazing school year, we’re still smiling about all that was accomplished—including our last-day-of-school basketball champions, who helped us end the year on a high note! 🏀🏆 What a great way to finish strong.

Our staff spent today’s Professional Learning Day learning with nationally recognized educator Rick Wormeli, diving into strategies that support middle school student growth, engagement, and meaningful learning. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, reflect, and grow together as we continue striving to provide the best educational experience for our students.

🎉 What an honor to celebrate our retiree, Cheryl Fox, along with several staff members moving on to other adventures!

🌟 We celebrated our student leaders as they took time to reflect on the growth, learning, and leadership they demonstrated throughout the year. 🌟

Through thoughtful reflection, students shared how they have grown, what they have learned, and how they are prepared to lead moving forward. We are incredibly proud of the positive impact these students have made in our school and in our community, and look forward to seeing the difference they continue to make in the future.

Our Read TO GO Program wrapped up the year with an unforgettable Choose Your Own Adventure Celebration!
Students enjoyed a delicious lunch from Jimmy John’s and Culver’s custard before participating in an exciting prize raffle.

Then the adventure began! Students chose their celebration experience—Water Wars at the W or Bowling & Arcade at the Waverly Bowl Inn.

To attend, students needed to read at least 15 books this school year. We are so proud of the commitment our students showed to reading all year long.

This program would not be possible without the support of so many. A huge thank you to Jimmy John’s, the Waverly Bowl Inn, the Waverly Public Library (Mr. Trevor & Mrs. Emily are AMAZING!), our generous community raffle donors, and our amazing parents for helping build strong reading habits at home. And a special shout-out to Mrs. Luck, Miss Emily & Mr. Trevor for encouraging and cheering our readers on every step of the way.
