We celebrated the end of our One District, One Book, Read-a-thon fundraiser by watching the movie, The Wild Robot as a whole kindergarten class! The kids had so much fun!

In math, we have been learning about 3 dimensional shapes. This week with Miss Van Metre, the kids created cubes with toothpicks and playdough. So fun!

In Science we have been working as engineers to learn about pushes and pulls as we create a class pinball machine. We practice what we learn using box models. Here are pictures of the kids working to get a ball to move long and short distances, to the left and to the right as well as hit a specific target. All of these activities help us to know how to best build our classroom pinball machine.

We had so many characters from our Wild Robot book in the library today! The character parade was a great way to end our Read Across America celebrations! Our Read-a-thon is wrapping up next week!
