📣 ESA Deadline Approaching June 30th — Apply Now!

The deadline to apply for Iowa’s Education Savings Account (ESA) program is quickly approaching. We encourage interested families to apply, even if you are still considering which school is the best fit for your student.

Applying keeps your options open. You are not obligated to use the funds, but if you miss the deadline, you will not be able to access them for the beginning of the upcoming school year.

At Waverly Christian School, we partner with families to equip students with absolute truth, empower them through education, and engage the world for Christ.

We are currently enrolling, and tours are available throughout the summer. We would love to meet your family, show you our school, and share what God is doing at WCS.

🎉 Wow—what an incredible weekend at our garage sale!

A huge thank you to all of the parents, families, and volunteers who made this event possible. You gave countless hours preparing, organizing, and running everything. It truly would not have happened without you! Thank you to Paige and Henry Yoder for organizing this event and letting us host it at Cedar River Construction's building!

We are also so grateful to everyone who donated items and to those who came out to shop and support WCS. Your generosity makes this possible!

One of the best parts was seeing our students involved and learning valuable life skills like customer service and handling money. What a great real-world experience!

We are so thankful for how God provided through this event and for the community that continues to support what He is doing at WCS. 🙌

🎉 What a year at WCS! 🎉

Our very first school year has officially come to a close, and we are so grateful for all that God has done. From the very beginning, He has been faithful, and we are thankful for the families who have partnered with us every step of the way.

A special highlight was celebrating at the Kindergarten graduation—what a joy to see these students grow and take this next step! Ms. Ray has prepared these students to go into their future with the skills they need to succeed! It was so fun to celebrate them on this special night! 🎓💛

Thank you to everyone who prayed, served, and supported Waverly Christian School throughout our inaugural year. You have been a part of something truly special.

On our final day, we encouraged and empowered our students to continue growing in their relationship with Jesus this summer, spending intentional time in His Word and walking closely with Him. We love seeing students begin to make their faith their own.

We truly believe the best is yet to come! As we look ahead to year two, we are excited to add 6th grade, introduce new programs like basketball, and continue building what God has started here.

We can’t wait to see you next year! 🙌

What an incredible day at Cedar Bend! ☀️

Our 2nd–5th grade students had an amazing time learning and exploring God’s creation together. From start to finish, the day was full of hands-on learning and fun!

Students worked together to build shelters, cooked s’mores using solar ovens they made themselves, and enjoyed a nature hike with a fun game of nature bingo. They even had the opportunity to meet and learn from a falconer, what a unique experience!

Throughout the day, students practiced teamwork and problem-solving and gained a deeper appreciation for the world God has created.

A big thank you to Ms. Jennifer for helping make this day possible—we are so grateful! 💛

☀️ What an incredible Field Day at WCS! 🎉

Last Friday was full of fun, laughter, and so many great memories as our students enjoyed Field Day together! From games to teamwork, it was a special time celebrating with our school community.

A huge thank you to our PTO for putting this time together, and to all of the parents who stepped up to plan and run the games—we couldn’t have done it without you!

We wrapped up the day with some fun teacher games while students enjoyed ice cream… a perfect ending! 🍦

What a joyful way to celebrate as we head into the final days of our first school year. God has been so good, and we are so thankful for all He has done! 🙌
