🍕 We love the community we get to do life with!

Thursdays are hot lunch days at WCS, when we partner with local restaurants to offer something special to our students. Last week, Z's Pizza & Diner was on the menu!

This week, Chris went above and beyond by treating our students to fries, too! 🍟

A huge THANK YOU to Chris and the entire Z’s team for supporting WCS and loving on our students. As you can see, the kids appreciate it just as much as we do!

🛍️ Garage Sale Finds for a Great Cause! ❤️

Come check out our upcoming garage sale and find some treasures! We'll share pictures of a few items, but there's plenty more to discover in person!

Sunday, October 18: 1–5 PM
Sunday, October 25: 1–4 PM

We aren't able to answer individual pricing questions ahead of time, but we welcome everyone to come browse and check it out!

Every dollar raised supports our WCS Foundations Program and our 6th graders' upcoming trip to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum! Our students are working to raise the funds for their own experience, learning the value of hard work and service!

🙌 Wednesday Worship at WCS!

Today was extra special because our Kindergarten class led worship for the first time! 🎉 These young students took ownership of their faith, stood and spoke in front of their family and friends, and helped lead our entire school closer to the Lord.

Next, Pastor Erin from Riverwood Church shared with us about reverence and worship, reminding us to honor the Lord in all we do.

What a joy to see these students growing in confidence and faith as they learn to share Jesus with others!

Great job, Kindergarten! We are so proud of you! ❤️🙌

Memory Verse Challenge: Family Edition! 📖

We love seeing our students hide God’s Word in their hearts, and this week, and every week, we want to see our WCS families learning Scripture together!

🎥 Here’s the challenge:
Record a video of you saying this week’s memory verse with your child or your whole family. Post it on Facebook and tag our WCS page to be entered into a drawing for FREE WCS SHIRTS FOR YOUR WHOLE FAMILY! 👕

🌟 Have children in multiple grades? You can submit a video for each different grade-level memory verse and earn an entry for each one! Sorry, twin families, you just get one per grade :)

⏰ This challenge is ONLY for this week! All videos must be posted and our page tagged by the end of the day Friday!

Let’s see those families memorizing Scripture, encouraging one another, and hiding God’s Word in their hearts together! 📖

Our staff knows it's important to have fun and build community with one another! Our other idea for a caption was, "Teachers holding on to their last bit of energy before the weekend". We made it!

Let's give it up for this amazing staff that God has called to serve these families! They love what they do!
