What a sweet morning at St. Paul’s! Yesterday, Mrs. Bienemann’s preschool room was filled with extra big smiles, warm hugs, and lots of love during our Dads & Donuts event! 🍩👔

Our preschoolers loved welcoming their dads, grandpas, and special friends into their classroom for a morning to remember.

Together, they:

🎬 Shared huge laughs watching Mrs. Bienemann’s hilarious video comparing what the kiddos think their dads do for work versus what they actually do!

🍩 Snacked on delicious donuts and milk

👔 Showed off their custom, homemade ties

🎨 Got creative together painting hands for special handprint art

🏫 Explored all the favorite learning centers and toys in the classroom

We truly value our St. Paul’s dads and father figures. Thank you to every dad, grandpa, and special friend who took time out of their busy day to make memories with these sweet little ones! ❤️✨

This week’s school worship was beautifully led by Mrs. Boots' 2nd-grade class!

We were thrilled to welcome back St. Paul's alumnus, Pastor Jared McLey, as our guest speaker. He shared an impactful message with us based on Matthew 22:15-22.

The morning got even more special with a surprise appearance by Pastor Dave on the piano 🎹, filling our worship with music. To wrap up our time together, the Boy Scouts of America joined us to share some exciting news about an event they are hosting this weekend.

🙌 Happy Pastor Appreciation to Pastor Dave and Pastor Nikoli! ✝️✨

We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for Pastor Dave and Pastor Nikoli and the incredible blessing they are to our school family.

From leading our morning prayers at school opening and welcoming our students with warm greetings, to spending time in our classrooms reading directly from the Bible, their presence makes a lasting impact. We are so thankful for the countless ways they serve, lead by example, and help our students grow strong in their faith every single day.

"⛪ What a wonderful time of worship at St. Paul’s! ✨

Our 3rd graders in Ms. Braun’s class did an incredible job leading our student worship service! From leading prayers and reading Scripture to helping guide our praise, these young leaders truly blessed our school family.

We were also blessed to welcome Pastor Corey Smith from Redeemer, who shared an inspiring message from Matthew 22:1-14. He reminded us about the incredible invitation God extends to each of us in the Parable of the Wedding Feast—and what it means to respond to His love with joyful, open hearts.

Thank you to all the parents, grandparents, and church family who joined us to worship and support our students today!"

Thank you to everyone who joined us for St. Paul’s Homerun for Health walk in celebration of Iowa’s Healthiest State Walk! We had an incredible turnout as a sea of bright red St. Paul's shirts trekked down the 1-mile rail trail—visible all the way from across the river!

We hit a grand slam at every base along the way:
⚾ 1st Base: Met up with Jason Steege and the Wartburg Mens and Womens Golf Team at Kohlmann Park before heading over the walking bridge!
⚾ 2nd Base: Visited our hometown heroes at the Waverly Fire Department right at City Hall!
⚾ 3rd Base: Took in the views crossing the Bremer Bridge!
🏠 Home Plate: Touched home for well-deserved popsicles, great conversation, and awesome music provided by Scott Suhr and KWAY Waverly!

Best of all, our steps today made a real impact—all donations raised are going directly to support the Iowa Baseball Club for the Deaf!

A huge thank you to all our walkers, parents, community partners, and volunteers who came out to make today such a fun, active, and meaningful event. 👟❤️
