[05/14/20] Attention all families: Please remember to turn in your June reservation forms as soon as possible! They're due on the 25th however, with the pandemic, the sooner you can get them to us the better we can plan our staffing needs for the upcoming month. Thank you!!
Attention all Families:
During these difficult and uncertain times we are trying to do what is best for our staff here at WCCP. We realize that some of you may still not know your schedule for the future, but to best serve you we are asking that you try to be as accurate as possible. We are asking that you give a precise schedule and try to stick to the times as listed. If you know your child/children will not be attending for the foreseeable future, please let us know. No one is going to lose their spots or going to be charged a fee. If you are able to keep your child/children at home, we encourage you to do or keep doing so. This will help us stop the risk of extra exposure to our staff and to the families of those essential workers who do need to bring their children. If you do need to bring in your child on an unscheduled day, you can call and see if there is any availability and we will do our best to accommodate your family. We are making these changes in the best interests of our staff and the families that we continue to serve. If you have any questions please call or email us here at the center. Thank you for being understanding.
[03/26/20] Families...also please turn in your April reservation forms if you haven't already done so. Thank you!
[03/26/20] Attention families - we wanted to remind you all to please let us know whether your child/children will be attending next week. Thank You!!
PLEASE read the following updated self isolation recommendations from the Iowa Department of Public Health. If this pertains to your family then we recommend to please stay home with your children. We want to do all that we can to help stop the spread of this virus!
[03/19/20] **ATTENTION** We are asking all families to please start letting the center know if your child will be attending next week. We know this may be difficult with all the uncertainties, but we are trying to plan for the next few weeks ahead. We would like each family to do what is best for them. With that being said, we are asking that if your child has a cough, sore throat, or runny nose to please keep them home. Also, if there is anyone in your household who is ill, please keep your child/children home as well. We are doing the best we can to not expose anyone to any unnecessary germs. Please call or email with any questions. Thank you!!
[03/16/20] ***UPDATE*** Due to recommendations from the Iowa Department of Human Services and the Iowa Child Care Resource and Referral, we will no longer be permitting parents to drop off or pick up their child in the classrooms until further notice. A staff member will greet you at the front desk and take your child down to their rooms when you are ready to depart. A staff member will also go and get your child and their personal items for you at time of pick up. If there is any communication that needs to be done you may call the center to speak with your child's teacher or send an email. We realize this is going to be a big change in everyone's routine but it is a precaution that needs to be taken in order to keep everyone safe and healthy. The staff is also conducting daily deep cleaning of all equipment, toys, etc. to help ensure the health of the children while here at the center. Thank you for being patient with us as we go through this period in time of uncertainty.
[03/16/20] We are aware of the serious issues before us and are currently receiving guidance from the appropriate agencies about a plan for moving forward according to their recommendations. We promise a more complete communication by the end of the day. Thank you!
