Registration for the 2024 Chamber Music Festival (both strings & piano) on October 6, 2024 is now open!

The Wartburg Meistersinger Chamber Music Festival is designed to bring together regional high school string and piano players to collaborate with world class artists. Special guests this year will include the internationally renowned chamber ensemble, Neave Trio! Formed in 2010, Neave Trio-violinist Anna Williams, cellist Mikhail Veselov, and pianist Eri Nakamura-were recently nominated for a Grammy and have received prestigious accolades for their “…engaging and cutting-edge performances.”
Students can register as a soloist, part of a chamber group, and/or both! This one-day event will allow participants to receive feedback on All State music, upcoming college auditions, MTNA events, and/or material they are studying in large ensembles/private lessons. Registration for RitterSing 2024 opens on Tuesday, August 27! Join us for a day of igniting all things Tenor & Bass for the school year on Saturday, October 5, 2024! All Tenor/Bass singers, 7th grade through Adult welcome!
This year we are excited to welcome composer and Wartburg alum, Connor Koppin! We also look forward to hearing from Iowa native, Steven Albaugh and his Rosemont High School tenor bass ensemble from Rosemont, MN!
RitterSing ensembles will be conducted by our very own Dr. Lee Nelson and guest conductor, Trent Buglewicz, vocal director at Linn-Marr High School!

We are thrilled to invite you to our EDUCATOR SESSIONS again this summer during the
2024 Wartburg College Meistersinger All-State Choir Camp!
These FREE sessions are offered on the first camp day at both Meistersinger All-State Camps, Monday, August 5 and Friday, August 9 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm at Wartburg College.
Special guests include Dr. Jennifer Larson, Voice Faculty at Wartburg College, Thad Driskell, IHSMA Executive Director, and Jason Heitland!
Sessions will cover:
• Individual Voice Pedagogy for Choral Specialists: Taking Care of the Voice (You can't buy a new one friends!)
• All-State updates
• The importance of process
• Successful rehearsal and audition techniques
• What if I have never taught All-State literature?
• Understanding what happens when your students audition.
In addition to the FREE Educator Sessions, you are encouraged to visit campus and are welcome to observe rehearsals and sectionals!
Refreshments will be served. No need to register, all are welcome!
Our Educator Sessions are open to any Iowa Educator who would like to know more about the All-State Process, Support, Mentorship and Growth!

Wartburg College has 13 Scholaship Students represented, numerous volunteers, AND members who are attending their 1st summer symposium and members who have attended 48 of the 50 symposiums!

Rebecca Nederhiser, conductor of the Wartburg Community Symphony, is a finalist for the American Prize’s — Vytautas Marijosius Memorial Award in Orchestral Programming.
Nederhiser submitted the symphony's innovative February 2023 performance, “Music Takes Flight,” which showcased the world premiere of Jocelyn Hagen's “Messages from Everywhere,” blending orchestra, choir, AI imagery, and more.

Early Registration for the 2024 All-State Camp closes on June 30! Get your registrations in to save with early registration.
Registration is open through July 21 or until capacity!
Session 2: August 9-11 reached full housing capacity on 6.18 at 12:30pm.
What does this mean & what are the options?
☑️ You can still register for All State Camp Session 1 (August 5-7) as a commuter OR as a residential camper
☑️ You can still register for All State Camp Session 2 (August 9-11) as a commuter. This means you are driving to camp each day OR finding alternate housing such as a hotel.
☑️ We have reached housing capacity for All State Camp Session 2 (August 9-11)…every room is full.
☑️ You are welcome to register for Session 2 as a commuter and send an email to: [email protected] & request to be added to the waitlist for housing. If we have an opening, we can then let you know that you could be moved to be in on campus housing, but it is not guaranteed because we are currently at capacity.
Early register ends on June 30.
Late register is July 1-21 or sooner if capacity is reached.

We’re looking forward to welcoming campers, 7th to 12th grade, for the Meistersinger Music Camp starting this Sunday, June 23.
This week of camp focuses on empowering, collaborating and creating!
Students have opportunities in Band, Choir, Orchestra, Keyboard, Introduction to Music Therapy, Music History, Conducting, Organ and Handbells and much more!
All are welcome to the Finale Concert on Friday, June 28 at 10:30am in Neumann Auditorium at Wartburg College, and the Finale Piano Recital in Wartburg Chapel at 11:45am!
