“My favorite color is rainbow”, is something our teachers are often told when we are asking our preschool friends what their favorite color is. So what better way to engage in color fun this week than painting, building and chasing the rainbow! 🌈

Oh the fun we had this week, apples were everywhere! We had fun learning through play when we engaged in apple themed activities throughout our classrooms. One of our favorite books, “10 Apples Up On Top” gave us a fun opportunity to incorporate math, stem and role playing and more! Oh the fun and giggles we shared using our big muscles to balance our very own “apples” up on top!

Yoga is back! Oh the giggles & laughs we share while cheering and encouraging our preschool friends to try something new! Our teachers are excited to add yoga into our plans every other week this year starting this week! Ask you’re child to teach you their favorite yoga pose from this weeks yoga adventure!

It felt great to dust off our yoga mats and bring yoga back into our classrooms for another school year! Our preschool friends were eager to discover something new if they weren’t here last year and our returning friends surprised us with how much they remembered. We are excited to dive back into to our yoga library and continue to use literacy combined with calming yoga techniques that will not only help us build our big muscles and gain coordination, but we are also practicing self control, positional words, following directions as well as encouraging and cheering on our friends when the poses get a little tricky. Oh the giggles and laughs we share and in the end we take a moment or two to just be calm, quiet and breathe. 🧘‍♀️
