We had a GLOWING week in Mrs. Davis’s science class!

6th and 7th grade students put their learning into action with a hands-on glow lab!

6th grade wrapped up their unit on the transfer of energy. Students explored how particles move faster when heat is added, using a fun glow lab to make the invisible movement of particles, easier to see and understand.

7th grade investigated the law conservation of mass, observing that mass remains constant during physical and chemical changes when matter is contained.

Science is always more exciting when students can see it, do it, and experience it!

So proud of our students for asking questions, making observations, collecting evidence, and having fun while learning.

We had a great group of students help Waverly Elementary School with their Nursery Rhyme Olympics on Friday. It was ridiculously hot but everyone handle the heat like champs.
