WCHS 1972 Classmates:

We heard that some of the classmates were not able to respond to the previous email as soon as they wanted to. Good news for all of you. We’ve received word from the caterer and the hotel that we don’t need a final count until July the 5th! So you still have time to respond!

If you want to come, but don’t want to mail a check, you can bring the money on Friday or Saturday evening.

But first please reply to this message to let us know you’re coming.

Please send your response so we get it by July 5th, so we can finalize our numbers.

WCHS Class of 1972 – Update on 50th Reunion
Weekend on July 16, 2022

This is one of a few updates that will be posted regarding the 50th Reunion celebration for the WCHS Class of 1972. We will be reaching out to as many classmates as possible through email, Facebook, or by text. Please pass the word around!

There will be a few events and gatherings, including:

Friday Morning, July 15th
Golf for those who want to. Jimmy King will be setting up the tee times. Please contact him on 931-209-3537.

Friday Evening, July 15th
We’ll be meeting at the Waverly Country Club at 6:30 on Friday, July 15, for a prelude to the main event on Saturday night. Some folks will be bringing finger foods, and the club sells all kinds of cokes and libations.

Hello, WCHS class of 1972!

This is one of multiple messages that will be sent out over the next 16 months or so regarding our 50th reunion.

What We Know So Far (Save the Dates!)

The reunion will be held during the weekend of July 16, 2022. The weekend will include a few experiences:
1. The main event will be at a venue in Nashville (location to be determined), on the evening of Saturday, July 16. This evening will include music, dinner, cash bar, and a Master of Ceremonies and/or entertainer of some sort. We will try to have this at a hotel.
2. Some kind of event will be help Friday evening, July 15 in the Waverly area.
4. Golf outing(s) will be available for those who want to play that weekend. The tee times will be announced later, but we anticipate that play will be on Friday, July 15; and maybe on Thursday, July 14.
5. A mid-day event on Saturday, July 16 will be planned at an outdoor venue (location to be determined). This might include corn-hole, or washers, or ??.
6. We anticipate that some folks will gather on Sunday, July 17. Nothing planned, yet; so that might be up to classmates to set up if you want.
7. More to come.
