Cultivate Homeschool Community

Three years ago today, the vision for a hybrid homeschool program with an emphasis on learning outdoors went public and Cultivate Homeschool Community was born.

In those three years, Cultivate has:

- welcomed 45 families into our program
- collaborated with area organizations to supplement and enrich lessons (Bremer County Conservation, Waverly Area Veterans Post, Waverly Fire Department, Waverly Police Department, City of Waverly, Bremer County Historical Society & more!)
- held classes in more than 4 locations
- built one-of-a-kind classrooms at our permanent location!
- grown enrollment from 21 in year 1, to over 60 for year 4!
- hired additional staff and expanded our offerings
- spent over 300 hours learning, playing & discovering with each other!

Most importantly, Cultivate Homeschool Community has enriched the educational journey of so many children and fulfilled our dream of giving our kids something uniquely beautiful in their homeschool years.

Cultivate Homeschool Community just wrapped up its third year with a wonderful celebration, showcasing our students and spending time with other homeschool families.

We have a few openings left for the following classes for the 26/27 year:

- Financial Literacy (ages 10+), Mondays at 3:30, 8 weeks

- Engineering / Technology (ages 10+), Mondays at 4:30, 8 weeks

- Sprouts (ages 4*-6), Mondays 9:00-1:00, 24 weeks

- Buds (ages 10-14), Tuesdays 9:00-1:00, 24 weeks

Lots of progress was made over the weekend, thanks to our incredibly hardworking crew!

Today was another busy day -- taping/mudding drywall, and installation of our heating & cooling system began🙌
