W-SR High School of Business

DECA is an business extracurricular available to kids in the HSB program. If your student is interested in a career in business, DECA is a great program for them! They will develop many valuable skills, make connections, and have the opportunity to travel!

Go-Hawk on the Go is the student run business at W-SR high school. All kinds of delicious foods and drinks are sold here. By joining the HSB program, your student has the opportunity to work here and gain extra credit or $10 worth of free food. It is a fun, real-life work experience, and when your student becomes a senior they can apply to be on the leadership team and help run the business!

College credits are just one of the many benefits your student will receive by enrolling in the High School of Business program. Gaining college credits in high school is a big deal because it looks great on college applications and saves a lot of money. If your student is in HSB all 4 years, they will receive 15 college credits, which is worth almost $5000! Even if your student decides not to pursue a business major these credits can still be used as electives. College credits are just a small part of what makes the HSB program so beneficial.
