Waverly Hall Christian Academy WHCA exists to “Instruct the mind, influence the faith, and impact the culture for Christ.”

It is our desire at Waverly Hall Christian Academy to provide an academically excellent education in a thoroughly Christian environment. We believe that we can educate the mind; however, if we neglect the education of the soul and spirit, then we have neglected the whole person. Waverly Hall Christian Academy is a ministry that God has brought to fruition through the vision and hard work of His people — the board of directors, the administration, and the staff.

We hope that everyone is enjoying their summer thus far. We are excited to announce that in the Fall students in the upper grades will be taking Home Economics. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn practical daily life skills. Among those skills will be sewing. As we prepare for a wonderful school year, we have created a classroom wish list of items that facilitate our students' learning and daily activities for this course. If you are able to contribute, any donation is greatly appreciated.

With the potential for severe thunderstorms, tornado watches, and flood warnings extending into tomorrow morning, our priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of our staff and students as they travel to school. Out of an abundance of caution, Waverly Hall Christian Academy will be on a two hour delay. School will open at 10 a.m. tomorrow May 7.

Expected Weather Threats Include:
Damaging winds up to 60 mph with a few tornadoes possible (a strong tornado cannot be ruled out). Heavy rainfall leading to possible flash flooding is also a possibility with and a Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Thursday morning along with a potential for isolated hail. All end of the year parties will remain as scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.
