This week, the spotlight is on a BIG one: our first competition of the season! The Wauwatosa East Marching Band heads to Waukesha South this Saturday, September 26, with GAGA taking the field at 7:15 PM! 🎶🔥

Also in this week’s newsletter: competition and spectator information, sponsorship opportunities, ways for parents to volunteer, a preview of the October 9 Homecoming festivities, and a Save the Date for a special GLOW SHOW performance of GAGA on October 15! ✨

🎟️ Waukesha South spectator admission: $12 adults, $8 students/seniors, and free for children 5 and under. Gates open at 3 PM.

After Mother Nature kept us off the field Friday, we are MORE than ready to perform. Come cheer on these students as they take GAGA into competition for the first time!

💔 We are absolutely crushed.
Due to the pending rain, the Wauwatosa East Marching Band will not be able to perform GAGA at halftime tonight. Our students have worked incredibly hard on this show, and we were so excited to bring it back to Hart Park tonight.
But we’re not going to leave you completely GAGA-less. 🎶

Earlier today, we sent the drone up over practice and captured the entire show from above. So we cranked it up to 20x speed and squeezed the whole thing into just 23 seconds. 😂
Consider this your extremely fast consolation performance.

And if 23 seconds just isn’t enough, we’ve got good news…

The Wauwatosa East Marching Band is back under the lights tomorrow night with another LIVE halftime performance of GAGA! ⚡🎶

Come cheer on the Red Raiders, bring the energy, and when halftime hits… get ready to go GAGA! 🤘

🍿 And don’t forget: come hungry! The Hart Park concession stand is run by the Band Boosters, so that pizza, popcorn, candy or cold drink is doing more than fueling your Friday night — it’s supporting Tosa East Bands!

🌭🍿 The real MVPs of Friday night!

A huge shoutout to the incredible volunteers who kept the Hart Park concession stand running Friday night: Dave McCullough, Jen Neideen, Barb Teske-Young, Brandon Young, Rich Wengler and Andy Cherney!

The concession stand doesn’t run itself. It takes a crew of dedicated volunteers at every home game serving up pizza, popcorn, drinks and plenty of smiles — all while raising important funds to support Tosa East Bands.

So next time you’re at Hart Park, come hungry! Grab something from the concession stand, support the band, and be sure to thank the volunteers behind the counter. ❤️🤍🎶

Before tonight’s game, members of the Wauwatosa East Marching Band came together for a special performance of “America the Beautiful” in remembrance of the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks.

Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and all those who responded and served in the days that followed.

We were honored to mark this anniversary through music and a moment of reflection.

A little music before Friday Night Lights! 🎶🏈

The Wauwatosa East Marching Band made its annual visit across the street to the Lincoln Elementary BBQ this afternoon, helping welcome new and returning Lincoln families to another school year.

We love being part of this longtime neighborhood tradition—and introducing some future Tosa East band families to the sound of the Wauwatosa East Marching Band!

Now it’s off to Hart Park. GAGA awaits. 🔥🎺🥁

Red Raider Football is coming home after a thrilling last-minute 34–27 victory over New Berlin Eisenhower — a win that earned Wauwatosa East Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Team of the Week honors! 🏈🔥
