As I create our final post recognizing our State Competitors, I can’t help but feel sad for the fact we should be on our way to Nashville for the International Conference right now! I’m SO proud of all of these kids. Next year will be awesome!

And that’s a wrap. 8 competitors total. 7 of those 8 coming home with hardware, as finalists, ICDC Qualifiers, and/or a perfect score on test or role play!

Our District event was cancelled. This was their first true competition so basically I’m crying my eyes out. All of our late nights and practice paid off. WAY TO GO TOSA EAST DECA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rolling out our State DECA results in slow motion during this quarantine 😂😂 Again, all of these posts were on my personal accounts, not transferred over to the TE DECA accounts....so, here we are with our second event (I kept the kids in just a few events to make prep easier for them.) Had the event NOT been cancelled, Elliot would’ve joined us at the International Career Development Conference (ICDC). Not too shabby for a brand new chapter that had District competition cancelled due to bad weather! Incredible👏🏼

With all of the craziness we returned to following our State DECA Conference, I just recently realized all of my excitement and social media posts were on my personal accounts, not transferred over to the TE DECA accounts....so, here we go! Kicking things off with a HUGE Shoutout to Dan and Taylor! Had the event NOT been cancelled, these two would’ve joined us at the International Career Development Conference (ICDC). Not too shabby for a brand new chapter that had District competition cancelled due to bad weather! Incredible👏🏼

Way to go HUGE success! So proud of all of these kids! The competition was awesome 👏🏼 and the verdict is still out on the winning team. Will post an update with the total once it’s in. Good teamwork 👍🏼
