New Horizons Academy Our mission is to empower children with disabilities to reach their full potential.

New Horizons does not solely focus on any one area of development; rather, each developmental domain (social, emotional, communicative, physical, and cognitive) is developed simultaneously throughout the school day. Great importance is placed on setting high goals and expectations and providing students with the appropriate assistance required for them to achieve their individual goals. Providing an academic curriculum that is challenging is of utmost importance, while simultaneously discovering and exploring the ways our students are best able to access that curriculum.

Congratulations to last week's Soaring Eagle Student of Excellence for the Wauseon campus: Grady Wyse!

Grady Wyse has always been known to be eager to help others whenever he can, whether it is with friends or teachers. But recently, Grady has been doing a great job staying focused in class and stepping out of his comfort zone by answering questions in class, even if he isn't sure about the answer. Grady is the perfect example of a student who is eager to help and learn each and every day! Way to go, Grady!
