Little Scholars Preschool is a full-service childcare facility operating in beautiful
downtown Wausau, WI, for more than 20 years. We're open M-F 6:30 am to 6 pm throughout the year. We serve children ages 2-5 during the school year and 2-9 during school off days
and during the summer. All enrolled children ages 2-5 participate in our preschool program year-round. We are a 4K community outre

ach site for the Wausau School District. Our program is open to all through Wisconsin DPI's generous Open Enrollment program. Our teachers are warm, loving and very well-trained. A nutritious lunch and two snacks are prepared and served on site. Full-time, part-time and flexible schedules are available, all at our very reasonable rates.

Miss Kelly’s class had a blast on their first field trip as a 4k kid!! We went on a wagon ride, picked apples, saw animals, played on the equipment, and learned lots about apples!! It was a wonderful field trip!! ❤️🍏🍎

Just a reminder Apple Orchard🍏🍎 tomorrow!!

As the school year starts we wanted to point out a few reminders:

-please take your child to the bathroom/change their diaper before drop off
-we will still be opening outside so be sure your child has a jacket
-if your child is a big breakfast eater please feed them in the morning, our morning snack is just a snack
-your child should have a water bottle daily! We have ran out of extra ones to give out daily
-payment is expected the first day of attendance for the week
-if you are on state assistance, your funds should be transferred the first of the month
-your child can NOT be at school if they are sick. If they get sent home ill they can not return the next day. They may return the day after that if they have no symptoms
-your child must have diapers/pull ups, extra clothes, sleeping bag, water bottle everyday (if these things aren’t here we may call you to bring them or have your child picked up) we have no extras left to hand out daily
-check your child’s cubby daily

Just a reminder if your child is going into 4k:

4k open house is tomorrow 3:00-5:30 pm (stop by anytime in that time frame)! Bring your child’s supplies, see the classroom, ask any questions you may have, and enjoy a yummy treat!!!
