Established in 1934 and chartered by the ARRL in 1936, the Wisconsin Valley Radio Association is an amateur radio club serving the communities in the greater Wausau area, Marathon County and North Central Wisconsin. The WVRA holds monthly club meetings on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm at Good News Church (145919 Lowland Dr) in Mosinee. Everyone is welcome, and you don't need an amateur radio license to participate. The WVRA uses the 145.370 N9MEA repeater on Rib Mountain for our Wednesday night net at 9pm. The 145.370 machine is a dual mode (analog and P25) repeater with a PL of 114.8 and -.600 MHz offset. For P25 use, please use a NAC of 135. It is highly recommended that you have tone squelch enabled on analog radios to eliminate the noise received from P25 operation.
