It's a week after the Dog Show! Wow has time flown. Maybe you are still recovering from the week. Maybe you have some energy. Think about sending thank you notes! One that can be nice is one to the vet that takes care of your dog. Maybe send a picture of you and the ribbons and or trophies you won. A thank you card can spread some appreciation and kindness.

What a great Dog Show! So much fun and hard work. Some wins and some “well we did it!” One day after the show and we are already thinking about next year. I’ll post some photos to cheer everyone on the next few days.

Are you ready tomorrow? I am excited to showcase all of you hard workers. Let’s do our best, have fun, and cheer each other on!
Bring:
Your dog’s vaccine record. (Phyllis reached out to those that I don’t have yet.)
Bring a water dish for your dog and water for you.
Bring chairs or seat cushions to help with the seating in the Pavillon.
Bring treats for your dog and you.
Bring your obedience and showmanship leashes.
Wear clothes to present your dog in, think comfy casual. Exhibitors bring a little bit mow show clothes for showmanship. Overall, be comfortable and nothing that will distract you or your dog.
Bring your fun!
Sign in begins at 9am and the show starts at 10.

Hello Everyone! The PreFair Mandatory Session at the Judging Pavilion is TODAY! This is mandatory for all those who are going to participate in the show on Tuesday, August 4th.We will meet from 5pm-8:30pm at the Pavilion. We will have some mats on the ground as well as some gates for your dog to become familiar with those pieces of the dog show. We will go over some "mock" obedience and showmanship runs while you are there. There will also be a pre booklet outlining the program that participants can look at to make sure their name and dog's name are spelled correctly as well as make any changes that are necessary. Please make this a priority for you to attend. You all have worked so hard. Please let me know if you have any questions by emailing me at [email protected] or my cell phone 1-715-870-1740. Thank you! Phyllis Smoot

Reminder for training class tonight. The class will focus on Rally. However since we had to cancel last week, we will also find some time to work some obedience and showmanship.

Notice: Tonight’s Marathon County Dog Class at Marathon Park is cancelled due to the poor air quality outside. Please pass the word to other project member families in case they do not see this post or check their email from the 4-H office.
