We are so proud of our St. John Lutheran Church and School Families. This week, we took time to answer God's call to help others and Love Our Neighbors as Ourselves.
So many great moments...it is hard to know where to begin.
Saturday - We got a group of people together to get our Food Trailer cleaned up, stocked it, and went to provide food and water to those affected by the tornado in the Ringle area.
Sunday - The church pulled together and committed to provide lunch and dinner meals for a full week to those who lost their homes or came to provide support and assistance during the initial clean-up of the storm.
Monday - We had a full crew to work at the food truck and had most of the meal slots filled for each day.
Tuesday - The church was opened up to host Team Rubicon for the week as they came from parts of the Midwest to help with the clean-up efforts. St. John School students held a clothing drive earlier in the month of April and today sorted and re-bagged the sorted clothes to be taken to the Orphan Grain Train.
Wednesday - Our school families donated the meal for the food truck and students helped prep the food in the morning. In the afternoon, our students worked with church volunteers to do Yard Clean-up as part of Earth Day Celebration.
Thursday - The students decorated a second set of Scripture cards to be shared with people who come up to the food truck and were placed inside of the meals delivered to the neighborhood clean-up crews.
Friday - Our school families once again donated the meal for the food truck for workers and families.
Soli Deo Gloria (To God be the Glory)

Today was a historic day at St. John Lutheran Church and School. We held classes at our current location for the last time today and celebrated the amazing blessing of 100 years of teaching and learning in this place.
Students took a field trip to visit our new school location and spent time in the place we begin our next 100 years of “Igniting Hearts and Minds to Live, Learn and Love Through Christ”
Tomorrow is the big moving day as we transition to our new school building.
