While Pastor thinks it comes to a couple conclusions that probably aren't true - like that Malachi 4:4-6 was added to the book later - overall, it gives a great overview of the flow of thought and the ideas in Malachi.

How do you deal with disappointment? It can be even worse when God seems disappointing. Zechariah, our second last prophet in our Summer in the Prophets, helped the people of his time deal with disappointment: By remembering they are God’s people, so promises will come true. Look throughout our worship service for references to God’s people, church, and promises.
