I'd like to say Thank You, to all my past and present students, along with my co-workers, who made this chapter of my career such an adventure! It's been an exciting - and interesting- 16 years that I will truly cherish. (+ the 3 years part time). After 46 years in the industry, I'm moving to spending full time with my family, my cycles, and my decompression zone (my garage :) ) I'm looking forward to fixing stuff on my schedule, whatever it happens to be that day. I may even finish my 73 Harley golf cart lol.

WE ARE BACK! 😁The NTC Automotive Student Club is back and in full swing. What better way to celebrate our return than with a Brat Fry!🌭🍔🌭 We've partnered with Menke Buick GMC Mazda who has graciously allowed us to use their facilities to serve you up delicious food.

We will have both brats and hamburgers to help curve your lunchtime hunger. You can purchase them individually or as a meal that comes with your choice of chips and a drink. (Accepting cash only)

COME OUT AND CELEBRATE WITH US!

Finally!!! We are back in the shop after 7 weeks to complete the extremely valuable hands-on portion of their lessons. Hats off to all the students who have worked so hard to complete this semester, for some this means completing their Degree or Diploma. It hasn't been easy for them as we were forced to move from a face to face format to an on-line version. This meant attending scheduled on-line classes, completing interactive homework assignments, all while dealing with the pressures of what's happening in their own personal challenges and situations outside of class. Depending on which classes the students are enrolled in, this lab section will be completed within the next 2-5 weeks. For some they will be moving full time into their chosen fields, while others will be taking a break before returning next semester. We are very proud of them all, being our goal as educators is to help our students succeed, in the classroom, and beyond.

We have hit the ground running.... March 19th I took this pic of the shop just before I shut the overhead door to start the shutdown, A very weird feeling to say the least. Fast forward to today and we are in our 2nd week of online classes. The students are attending face to face online classes, along with simulation and interactive modules that they can do during the times that suits them best. The instructors are set up at home, and we are web meeting the rest of the staff on a weekly basis planning our next move. At this time the plan is to have the students complete the technical training online, then once we open up where we can safely bring them back, complete the hands on learning giving them the same experiences as if it was a normal year. Fingers are crossed, and staying optimistic, because we need to 👍
