What is your favorite thing about Rasmussen University? My favorite thing about Rasmussen University is that it feels like a true community. I feel inspired every time I’m there, especially seeing strong women in leadership from lecturers to deans who are deeply committed to helping students succeed. Their support helps me see my own potential and future more clearly. Rasmussen is more than just a college to me; it’s a place that motivates and empowers me to grow.
What advice would you give to new students? My advice to new nursing students is to stay committed, dedicated, and focused on their goals. Put in the effort needed to succeed and don’t be afraid to ask for help. Take good notes and make full use of tutoring and peer support. Remember, no one succeeds alone; working together helps you see your gaps, learn new perspectives, and grow stronger. Teamwork and support can make your journey easier and keep you motivated to move forward.
What’s been your favorite class so far? My favorite class is Maternal Child Nursing. I learned so much during this course and had one of my best clinical experiences. The instructor made the content come alive, and it confirmed my passion for women’s health and my desire to one day work as a Labor and Delivery nurse
What are you excited about doing after graduation? After graduation, I’m excited to gain diverse experience as a float nurse to continue learning and growing. My long-term goal is to become a Nurse Practitioner, with a focus on mental health
I’m originally from Africa, where community, family, and faith are deeply valued. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, storytelling, and learning about different cultures. I love bringing joy to others and cherish simple moments at home surrounded by loved ones.
