STEM WORKSHOP FUN: Club Members learned and played at Northcentral Technical College's STEM Center Day! After a campus tour and some time playing basketball and volleyball, Members dove into a Wood Species Identification Workshop where they learned how to identify different wood species by pore size, color, grain, and texture. The highlight was a detective-style Jenga game where players had to identify each wood species before making their move. Thank you to NTC for such a fun and hands-on experience!

HOME RUN: Thank you to We Energies and the Milwaukee Brewers for treating our teen Club Members to a fun day at the ballpark! Last week they headed to Milwaukee to cheer on the Brewers against the Cleveland Guardians, complete with t-shirts and hot dogs. Thank you for giving Members a day they won't forget!

GIRLS WITH A PURPOSE: A group of teens took a trip to the Marathon County Public Library (MCPL) in Hatley to read to Levi the golden doodle therapy dog! Club Members had a great time working on their reading and social skills alongside their peers (and one very good listener.)

Girls with a Purpose meets on Mondays and has been growing every week! This Club-led group focuses on overall health, empowering young people to build strong relationships and self-confidence.

EXPRESS YOURSELF: Club Members in the Elementary Center art room are creating self-portraits in the surrealistic style of Pablo Picasso!

THANK YOU: The Club received laptops from Associated Bank to use at Club sites and to support Club Members. We appreciate the partnership Associated Bank has with Digital Bridge to get the laptops ready to use.

Michaels Stores wants to help celebrate Club kids on Sunday, June 7th! Together, The Boys & Girls Club of America and Michaels have been fundraising to help support arts programs in Clubs across the country, and now it's time to party! Michaels invites Clubs Members, friends and families to attend the June 7 event from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Michaels Crafts, 226507 Rib Mountain Dr, Wausau., for an afternoon of cookie decorating, scavenger hunts, balloon sculptures and exclusive sales!
