We create leaders. The Wausau Conservatory of Music, an independent non-profit school, opened its doors in 1981 with seven faculty members and 150 students.

Today, the school has grown to 26 faculty members and is attended by over 800 students. In 1997 the school was updated to 19,000 square feet to provide teacher studios, rehearsal rooms and the Caroline Mark Concert Hall that hosts over 60 performances annually.

The Wausau Conservatory of Music is seeking qualified, experienced candidates for the position of Part-Time Violin/Viola Instructor for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for an individual who is available 2-3 days a week and available to give lessons either during and/or after school. WCM pays instructors an hourly wage, and compensation is based on experience and training.

The Wausau Conservatory of Music was founded in 1981 and is a not-for-profit music school.
