Central WI Journey Martial Arts

Updated schedule begins this week.
Couple things to note:
- Morning classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Monday night adult class has changed to brown and black belts all ages. We have a lot of folks knocking on the door of black belt level, so this will be a good opportunity to bone up on curriculum. This Monday, we'll be reviewing every form from white belt until we run out of time.
- Thursday night added a small 10 minute black belt leadership "class". This will be an opportunity to help the black belts learn some teaching skills, and review things we need to work on with our lower belts.

Congratulations to everyone that promoted last night!!! Way to persevere through the heat and show your skills. More pictures to come.

The most valuable thing a person can give you is their time and talents. When Mr Janssen earned his black belt, he wanted to give back to the school in the form of a digitized clock that allows us the ability to set specific intervals that tie in with a lot of the drills we do. After countless hours building this guy from scratch, it is up and fully functional, along with an authentic boxing bell to give it that martial arts feel. This dojo clock is a 1 of 1, awesome addition to the school. Thank you, Mr Janssen for your dedication and perseverance on this project.

Fun evening for the school. Thanks to those that first came along and assisted with the Wausau School District 4k evening. Secondly, thanks to Sifu Willis for stopping in again and teaching us a little praying mantis Kung Fu.

We're going to run classes as normal tonight. Obviously, use your own discretion as to whether you feel comfortable coming in.
