Please join the CEC Governance Council in welcoming our two newest members! Barb Conradt and Beanie Hallstrom were unanimously elected to the Governance Council at our Annual Meeting on June 5. Barb is a retired teacher, active community member, experienced board member, and grandparent of a CEC student. Beanie is a doula, business owner, co-founder of a doula collective, and parent of a CEC student. We are grateful for their generosity and commitment to sharing their time, wisdom, and perspectives in support of the CEC mission and our collaborative community. P.S. Please join the CEC Governance Council in thanking Rebecca Thieme as she steps aside from her role on the Governance Council. Since 2023–2024, Rebecca has generously shared her thoughtful perspectives, creativity, enthusiasm, and time in support of our school and its mission. Her contributions have helped strengthen the collaborative community that is at the heart of Chain Exploration Center. We are grateful for all that Rebecca has given to CEC and wish her all the best. We look forward to exploring new ways for our paths to cross in the future. Thank you, Rebecca!

Many thanks to business-owner Carolyn Niemuth for hosting an April-May fundraiser to support the CEC's Suzuki Orchestra Program! The $824.94 raised included generous contributions from Koinonia Makers Market and Shindig Waupaca, and community donations that each store kindly collected. The CEC is grateful for your partnership and belief in our work, and for sharing that enthusiasm with everyone who visited your shops. You are at the heart of the “collaborative community” in our mission statement!

¡COMIDAS DE VERANO GRATUITAS!

Free breakfast and lunch meals will be served every day of summer school at the Waupaca Learning Center.
Children 18 and younger do not need to participate in summer school to have FREE meals.
Se servirán desayunos y almuerzos gratuitos todos los días de la escuela de verano en el Waupaca Learning Center. Los niños de 18 años o menos no necesitan participar en la escuela de verano para recibir sus comidas GRATIS.

If your student is participating in the concert please have them to the High School by 5:00 dressed in white (or light) on top and black (or dark) on bottom, with dark shoes. Students should collect their instruments with cases from the auditorium and go to the tuning rooms.

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!The Koinonia and Shindig CEC Fundraiser has been EXTENDED through the month of May!!! These shops are donating 5% of their sales profit to support the CEC's Suzuki Orchestra Program! There will also be donation buckets at both locations. Thank you for your generous support!
