🚨 We are proud to celebrate seniors Lily '27 and Oden '27, who were named Commended Students in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program, placing them among the top 2.6% of over 1.3 million high school entrants nationwide. We are equally thrilled to announce that Nolan '27 and Ben '27 have been named Semifinalists, an honor achieved by less than 1% of U.S. high school seniors, and are currently in the running to become Finalists and National Merit Scholars. Congratulations, seniors! 🧠💙

In their 2nd grade literacy unit, Ms. Voeller's class explored global transportation by reading about rickshaws and their role in communities around the world. To put their learning into practice, the students engaged in a hands-on design challenge to build their own rickshaws. This activity aligns directly with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) inquiry framework, encouraging students to connect literary concepts with practical problem-solving. By designing and constructing these models, students developed critical thinking, fine motor skills, and creative inquiry while gaining a deeper, action-oriented understanding of global cultures and transport systems. 🌎🤔🛺

WOW! 🤩 Fans at the girls’ Varsity home volleyball game on Tuesday were treated to the sweetest, most impressive rendition of the national anthem by Eleanor ‘29 and Regina ‘29. You’ll want to have the VOLUME UP for this video! Thanks to these brave RISK TAKERS for the best start to the evening’s game. AND, our girls must have been inspired because they came away with the 3rd WIN of the season! 💙🏐🎤

Ms. Nelson reports that her middle school Humanities class loves learning! They can’t get enough of mythology and ancient Greece, and the extra challenge puzzles in her classroom for downtime or brain breaks have been very competitive. Shout out to Sumi ‘33, as the first to solve the parthenon mystery puzzle! Kudos 6th graders for showing the IB character trait of being true Inquirers. 💫
