Classmate Kaye Kolsrud Sebastyn received this beautiful "Thank you" letter from Mountain Projects, Life changing services, which is one of the non profit organizations to help the recovery efforts in Kaye's North Carolina community which was ravaged by Hurricane Helene this past fall. Thank you AGAIN all classmates who donated funds to this worthy cause.

Words cannot express my love and gratitude to all of my WHS 1969 classmates who contributed to help my area of western North Carolina recover from Hurricane Helene . I received $1473 to give to our Mountain Projects for hurricane relief here in our county! They were overcome with gratitude and now understand “Iowa nice”. Special thanks to Karen Watts Gibson for coordinating this effort. I have always loved my classmates, even though we are miles apart. I may live in North Carolina, but my heart and soul are still in Iowa. Thank you all do much! Class of ‘69 sets the standard. Much love to you all. Kaye Kolsrud Sebastyn
