We’re honored to be recognized by WaterStone Bank! πŸ’š Thank you for supporting the work being done at Retzer Nature Center and the many volunteers, donors, and community members who help make it possible. Together, we’re preserving this special place for future generations. 🌿

Some organizations do more than serve their community. They help protect it for generations to come.

Friends of Retzer Nature Center is one of those organizations. With more than 25,000 visitors each year exploring 450+ acres of prairie and forest, a planetarium and a learning center, Retzer is a place where people of all ages connect with the natural world right here in Waukesha County. And behind it all is a dedicated group of volunteers and supporters working tirelessly to restore and preserve that natural setting for the young and old who will call this region home long after us.

That kind of commitment to the future is something we deeply admire β€” and proudly stand behind.

πŸ’š We love seeing young nature enthusiasts develop a passion for wildlife!

Thank you, Lainie, for your generous donation to support Retzer's Animal Ambassadors. Your love for reptiles helps us continue caring for the animals that inspire and educate visitors every day.

Be sure to stop by Retzer Nature Center to meet our Animal Ambassadors!

Lainie S. really likes reptiles – especially snakes! She and her mom recently visited Retzer Nature Center to make a very generous donation to our reptile residents. Instead of gifts at her recent birthday party, Lainie asked her guests to contribute to a donation through the Friends of Retzer Nature Center, which helped buy supplies for our Animal Ambassador reptiles.

Thank you, Lainie! πŸ’š You can visit Lainie's favorite Animal Ambassadors in Retzer's exhibit hall, including Okeetee the corn snake and our turtles.
