We’re excited to announce a new partnership that recognizes the leadership and achievements of Girl Scout Gold Award recipients. Beginning with Fall 2026 enrollment, Carroll University will award university credit for LEA190 – Leadership and Personal Effectiveness to students who have earned the Girl Scout Gold Award.
It is a privilege to award Evelyn Marshall-King, MSN-NE, ADN, RN ’25, our 2026 Distinguished Alumni Award for Professional Achievement: College of Health Sciences. She is a nursing educator, clinical leader and advocate whose career reflects a deep commitment to advancing nursing education, strengthening healthcare systems and uplifting the next generation of nurses.
With professional experience spanning bedside care, behavioral health, correctional health, senior living and hospital leadership, Marshall-King has distinguished herself as an innovative educator and transformational leader dedicated to equity, excellence and patient-centered care.

A nationally respected leader in speech, debate and theatre education, Adam J. Jacobi ’99, has devoted his career to empowering young people to find their voices, build confidence and engage meaningfully with the world around them.
For nearly three decades, his work has advanced communication education at the local, state, national and international levels—expanding access, championing inclusion and shaping the future of the field. We are thrilled to award him the 2026 Distinguished Alumni Award for Professional Achievement: College of Arts & Sciences.
