Hadfield School

Last Saturday evening, Big Brothers Big Sisters honored Serraya Rice and her Big Sister Officer Katie Smidt of the Waukesha Police Department, as the school-based match of the year! Serraya was a 5th grade student at Hadfield last year. Both families attended the annual gala at the Pfister Hotel. Officer Katie and Serraya met at Hadfield 5 years ago and continue to meet at Les Paul Middle School this year.

On Tuesday October 29th students from Catholic Memorial High Schools Chick-fil-A Leader Academy visited our 4K, 5K and 1st grade students. They read books to them and each student received 5 non-fiction books to take home. This is the second year that these Leader Academy students donated books to our students. Thank you Catholic Memorial High School for sharing your love of reading with Hadfield students!

Thank you Hadfield PTO for a fun night for students, families and staff! The Harvest Dance and Trunk or Treat was amazing!

Happy Custodian Appreciation Day!

We had our first Community Gathering of the year on Thursday and these students were nominated by their teachers. The common theme written by all teachers when nominating these students is that they were kind to all their classmates and showed respect to everyone at Hadfield. So proud of the September Community Leaders. They truly are leaders at Hadfield!

What a great Open House tonight! So many families stopped in to meet their teachers and visit our community partner tables. Everyone is excited for the school year to start.

The rain didn't dampen the fun we had tonight visiting our Hadfield families! We stopped at 235 different households and dropped off a bag with filled with information to make the return to school a success for our families.

Today we welcomed our 4K and 5K students to Hadfield. Students and families visited the classrooms, went on a tour of the school and participated in an activity in the classrooms. Hard to believe that these students will be in the graduating classes of 2037 & 2038!

A huge thank you to the volunteers of Generac who helped put labels on all of our new literacy books for the classrooms. This was a huge project and we are very grateful that they could help. Just another great community partner that supports our school!

Thank you Laurie from Costco in Pewaukee. She stopped at Hadfield today to give us a $500 Costco gift card to purchase school supplies for our school. Another great community partner that supports our school!
