AllWriters' Workplace & Workshop director and founder, Kathie Giorgio, is heading into a busy season of appearances! The first is coming up this Friday, September 18th, with the Lake Country Poets' Society! It starts at 7:00, and is being held at Tabi's, 111 E Capitol Dr. in Hartland. Kathie will be reading from The Birth Of A Widow, and also some new poems written since the book's publication.
Then next weekend, September 25 - 27, Author Kathie Giorgio will be in several presentations at UntitledTownbook festival in Green Bay! She will be leading a workshop on writing about grief, called Finding The Words, and she will be part of a literary reading with fabulous poets called Heart On A Page; An Evening of Fine Poetry. Then she will be presenting with Kim Davis and Karen Cutler Drecktrah, in a panel called The Business of Writing.

WEDNESDAY WORDS OF WISDOM FOR WRITERS
(Normally, I pull up a quote from a writer about writing, but I just read this statement this morning in Rainbow Rowell's new novel, Cherry, Baby. While it's coming out of the mouth of Rowell's main character, I couldn't help but feel it's come from Rowell too.)
"Cherry wasn't much of an artist. But she was enough of an artist to know, even at twenty-five, that you couldn't put a bridle on someone else's creative expression. Art came out of people and it came out in messy shapes. Like dreams."
