Note from Waukesha Salvation Army!
Last summer, we provided 846 lunches to children here in Waukesha through our summer lunch program, Feed the Kids.

Our goal is for no child in Waukesha to go hungry. To make that happen, we're hoping to expand the program and serve even more children in our community this year.

Monday-Friday from June 22nd to August 14th, we will be at Sentinel Park from 12:00-12:30 PM distributing lunches.

If you'd like to support this mission, here are a few ways you can help:

🥫 1. Purchase food items from our Amazon Wish List
*Items will be shipped directly to our building.*

(We've also included a few fun items for the kids, as we try to encourage outdoor activity!)

🍎 2. Shop & donate food items
You can pick up some extra groceries and drop donations off at our building Monday–Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

📍Address: 445 Madison Street, Waukesha, WI

Simply ring the doorbell at the big red doors and someone will come pick up the donation 😊

(See the list of needed items below)

🫂 3. Volunteer with us
We're looking for approximately 3–6 volunteers on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays throughout the summer.

Link to apply: https://x.gldn.io/e/L7gL8TGTU3b

A volunteer application, background check, and safety training are required.

📲 4. Share & comment
Even if you're unable to donate or volunteer, sharing and commenting helps us reach more people who may be able to help!

It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for the village we're building here in Waukesha. No matter how you're able to contribute, you're helping make a difference in the lives of these kids.

Thank you for your support. ❤️

As part of the Waukesha One 1:1 iPad program, every student in our district has access to powerful tools for learning, creativity, and connection. However, we understand that when the iPad comes home, it can bring questions, concerns, and curiosity.

That’s why we’re launching the Waukesha One Family Learning Series—a new set of learning opportunities designed specifically for families.

Through a combination of in-person evening sessions and on-demand video resources, we’ll explore how technology is used to support student learning, how it’s managed to ensure safety, and how families can promote healthy and balanced digital habits at home.

Join us as we explore:
What the Waukesha One program is and how it supports learning
- How we protect and support students online through tools like Securly
- How to set screen time limits and build digital routines at home
- How your child uses tools like Book Creator, Notability, and Clips to learn and create
- How to promote digital wellbeing, balance, and focus in a 1:1 world

Together, we’ll build a shared understanding of how to make technology meaningful, manageable, and empowering for every student.

All sessions will be held at the Blair Administration Building, 301 Hyde Park Ave., Waukesha, WI 53188. Registration is not required.
