We can't wait to see everyone's smiling faces as they jump around in the bounce houses! 🥰

The PTO appreciates everyone who supports these Culver's Night fundraisers!

The Day of Awesomeness (bounce house day) is still scheduled for this Wednesday, June 10th at the Hillcrest Playground. We are monitoring the weather and it looks to be very hot and humid throughout the day. Please have your child dress appropriately.

Please remember:
- A signed waiver is required for each student to participate
- Socks to be worn for the bounce houses
- Sunscreen to be applied before school
- Don't forget water bottles

Our last Friday of the school year is upon us!!
Which means Day of Awesomeness is next week!

This day will include several bounce houses, music and freeze pops!! 🙌🏻
We have a few more volunteer spots open to help supervise a bounce house during this fun day! THANK YOU to everyone who has already signed up - we couldn't make this event happen without you!

Incase you missed the newsletter -
" This spring, schools across the state of Wisconsin are celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the beginning of our country. Hillcrest will honor this with a celebration on Friday at 2:50. Throughout the week, we will learn about symbols that represent our country and why it is important to celebrate this milestone in our country's history. The culmination will be a small "parade" where students will "march" out to the playground for an extra recess at the end of the day on Friday. If you would like to join us, feel free to stop by at 2:50 to see our Hillcrest parade head outside! We are encouraging everyone to wear red, white and blue for the festivities"

As we wrap up the school year we have a few more volunteer opportunities to fill.

First up is the 5th Grade Promotion Celebration on Wednesday, June 3rd for setting up and cleaning up the event. These sign ups can be found here:

Next, is the Day of Awesomeness which is a day for students to enjoy several bounce houses for a scheduled time on Wednesday, June 10th.
As of right now we need 6 more volunteers for each of the two time slots to help supervise a bounce house. Thank you to those who have signed up already! 💓

Lastly, we are looking to form a subcommittee of parents to rally together to work on playground improvement plans for Hillcrest. See attached flyer for more details!

Friendly reminder that orders are due for both Scrip and end of year staff gifts by the EOD day Thursday, the 28th.
