20th Season
Our name stands for Community of Robotics Engineers, and that is just what we are – we are from Waukesha, Wisconsin and accept students from any three of our community high schools, two preparatory academies, and homeschool students from the area. We are part of a larger organization called FIRST. We pair them up with great mentors who teach them the fundamentals of robotics and other life skills.
CORE just finished competing in the Wisconsin State Championship playoffs!
We were the captains of the 7th seed alliance and were partnered with team 93 - New Apple Corps and team 8744 - Leviathans.
We finished playoffs with a record of 1-2 and won the Creativity Award!

Hello everyone, CORE 2062 would like to apologize for not posting in a while. CORE has a smaller team in the 2025-2026 season and due to that it’s been difficult to send out social media updates, we will try not to go as long between posts as we’ve been doing.
Even with our smaller team this season, CORE has accomplished some big things. At the Lakeland tournament on March 6th-8th, we achieved rank 4 as well as being captain of alliance 3. At the Mukwonago tournament on March 27th-29th, we achieved rank 13 and we were the first pick of alliance 4. Our performance at Lakeland and Mukwonago combined has earned us 84 district points. CORE is ranked 13th in the state and qualified for the Wisconsin State Championship. The state championship takes place at Brookfield East High School this weekend on the 17th-19th of April.
CORE would love to have our supporters there; come visit us in the pit.

Phantom Lakes came to a close yesterday. Our team had a much better day, going 2-2 with a final record of 5-7. We ranked 34th, and unfortunately we’re not chosen to play in Eliminations. This brings our season to an end. We all had an incredible time competing with such amazing teams, and can’t wait for next year! Good luck to all the teams competing at worlds!
