What happens when you start doubting your own ability to choose?
For many people, overthinking isn’t just “thinking too much” — it’s a cycle of fear, pressure, and second-guessing that slowly erodes self-trust.
In our newest blog, Anna Kraft explores what it looks like to rebuild trust in yourself when your mind feels loud, uncertain, or stuck in “what if” spirals.
This piece touches on:
✨ why overthinking often comes from fear, not logic
✨ the difference between fear and intuition
✨ how chronic doubt disconnects us from ourselves
✨ learning to make decisions without needing certainty
✨ small steps that help rebuild self-trust over time
A supportive read for anyone who feels stuck in indecision, second-guessing, or afraid of “getting it wrong.”

Sometimes we understand something logically…
but our body still reacts like the experience is happening right now.
That’s often where EMDR therapy comes in.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy approach that helps the brain process experiences that may feel “stuck” or unresolved. Rather than only talking through what happened, EMDR also works with the nervous system and body’s response to those experiences.
EMDR can help people process difficult experiences, reduce emotional intensity, and feel more grounded in the present.
Healing isn’t about forcing yourself to “move on.”
Sometimes it’s about giving your brain the support it needed all along. 🤍

Not every reason for therapy is obvious.
Sometimes it’s not about something being “wrong,”
but about realizing something doesn’t feel as aligned as it used to.
We adapt to a lot over time—patterns, stress, ways of coping—
and it can take a while to notice when those things no longer fit.
That moment of noticing is often where change begins.
This is also why therapy can be helpful for anyone—not just those in crisis, but for anyone wanting to understand themselves more deeply or make sense of what’s shifting internally.
Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that support can start in awareness, not urgency.
If something in you has been asking for more support, clarity, or space to process—this could be your place to start.

We don’t always recognize the early reasons people seek therapy.
Not because they’re small—but because they’re familiar.
Patterns can feel normal when you’ve been living inside them for a long time. Stress can feel “manageable” when it’s become constant. And disconnect can be easy to overlook when everything still looks functional on the outside.
But often, this is where the work actually begins—
not in crisis, but in recognition.
Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that support doesn’t have to wait for things to fall apart. It can begin much earlier than that, in the moments you start to notice how something feels rather than just how it looks.

What does it really mean to support someone you love?
Sometimes caring for others can quietly turn into overextending, over-functioning, or feeling responsible for fixing things that were never ours to carry.
In our newest blog, Natalie Brey, LPC explores the difference between empowering others versus unintentionally taking away their ability to trust themselves and grow through challenges.
This piece touches on:
✨ boundaries and emotional responsibility
✨ why we feel the urge to “fix”
✨ how to support without over-carrying
✨ building healthier, more balanced relationships
✨ learning to tolerate discomfort while staying compassionate
A thoughtful read for anyone who struggles with people-pleasing, over-helping, or feeling emotionally responsible for others.

You don’t have to keep pushing through everything.
Not this month.
Not like this.
You’re allowed to notice what’s been building.
You’re allowed to slow down before you hit a breaking point.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month—
but this goes beyond awareness.
It’s about being a little more honest with yourself.
