What a special day celebrating our Year 2 Athletic Training students!

Yesterday, we recognized them at their pinning ceremony and celebrated their graduation from our Master of Science in Athletic Training program.

This is such a huge accomplishment, and we are so proud of the hard work, growth, perseverance, and professionalism they have shown throughout their time in the program.

We are excited to see where their careers take them as they step into the athletic training profession and begin making an impact in the lives of their patients, athletes, and communities.

Yesterday was a great day for our MSAT program

Our Year 2 students presented their research posters at the Graduate Showcase and had the opportunity to discuss their projects, findings, and clinical takeaways.

They did such a great job representing their hard work, professionalism, and growth as future athletic trainers.

What a fun afternoon with some of our Waukesha Academy of Health Professions students!

They recently visited at our Center for Graduate Studies and had the chance to explore hands-on skills used in athletic training, physical therapy, and occupational therapy.

They got to learn, practice, ask questions, and have a little fun with our faculty and students along the way — which is exactly what healthcare career exploration should look like.

We love creating opportunities for students to see what these professions are all about and imagine where their own future in healthcare could take them!

It’s finals week, but our Athletic Training and Pre-Athletic Training students have been doing a whole lot more than studying from notes to lead up to this point.

Recently, they’ve been getting hands-on in class with sports protective equipment, practicing stabilization techniques, learning how to manage jaw fractures, and assessing head and face injuries.

These activities help students connect what they’re learning in the classroom to the real situations they may face when caring for athletes and active individuals.

Proud of the way they keep showing up, learning, practicing, and growing! 👏

Last night was a great example of interprofessional education in action.

Our Athletic Training and Physician Assistant programs collaborated to host our annual sports physicals for nearly 175 Carroll student-athletes.

This free service supports the health and safety of our athletes while giving our students valuable hands-on experience working alongside other future healthcare professionals.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the night run smoothly. This is what learning, service, and teamwork look like at Carroll! 👏
