Did you know that we have a new districtwide app? We do....it is called Apptegy and we have the QR to get you started!! Your teachers have their rosters on there and this will work much like Class Dojo, but with all of the district information and components, as well as class and encore information! Yay!!

¿Sabían que tenemos una nueva aplicación para todo el distrito? ¡Así es! Se llama Apptegy y tenemos el código QR para que puedan empezar a usarla. Sus maestros tienen allí sus listas de alumnos; la aplicación funcionará de manera muy similar a Class Dojo, pero incluirá toda la información y los componentes del distrito, así como detalles sobre las clases y las asignaturas complementarias. ¡Qué bien!

Good afternoon Little Fort Families! We are gearing up for our back to school meet and greet and picnic! The garden is growing some amazing goodies. Thanks to Mr. Acosta and his landscaping for our beautification, weeding and planting our new Japanese maple! We look forward to an amazing year!

Hello Little Fort Families` As we are preparing for the 26-27 school year, I would like to share the supply list needed for the school year- Project Discovery is located at the bottom of the 3-5th grade boxes!
Project Discovery needs to get only what is listed under Project Discovery, though gym shoes should be added!

Our kindergarten classes wrapped up their CKLA unit Taking Care of the Earth!
Students learned about reducing waste, recycling, and protecting natural resources. For their final project, they reused recyclable materials to create something new. Their creativity shined as they built towns, instruments, cellphones, animals, and more. It was a fun and meaningful way to practice taking care of our planet.

Join us for a delightful celebration of creativity at the District-Wide Elementary Art Show! The show will feature the imaginative work of young artists from across the district. This special exhibit highlights a wide range of colorful, expressive pieces that showcase students’ talents and unique perspectives.

The show will be held at Belvidere Mall, Unit 2219 (near Center Court), with artwork on display all week from May 1 through May 8, 2026. Families, friends, and community members are warmly invited to stop by, support our students, and experience the joy of art through their eyes.

A special recognition for Little Fort will take place on Thursday, May 7 at 5:30 PM. We hope to see you there!

Spring is in the air and the Little Fort garden is showing some great signs of learning. The kids are looking at active plant life cycles, learning about bumblebees and pollination, getting some great science vocabulary and learning to transplant! We have some great things coming to our outdoor classroom/garden!
