After almost a year of soul searching, prayer, talking with friends and family, I have made the decision to step down from Rhythm Academy. This was not an easy decision after 17 years at the helm, but my life has undergone so many changes in the past two years, that I decided it was time.

I will continue in the industry, just in a different capacity. I have enjoyed every minute of the past 17 years. Have seen amazing talent come through my doors and go on to successful careers in dance. I am proud of all I have accomplished and the difference I was able to make in the lives of so many children.

At this point I am not sure what the future holds for RAD, but I will keep everyone posted. This has been an amazing journey for me and I want to thank all the brilliant teachers that helped me bring the arts to the youth of Lake County. Your legacies will live on...... ....

Saying farewell and best of luck to these two dancer/teachers at RAD! They both will be starting a new chapter in their lives. Their talent and presence will be missed by all that have been touched by their talent and passion for dance! Love them both to the moon and back. Nick Echevarria, thank you for the past 4 years of being able to watch you grow as an artist, teacher and wonderful human being. Sophie Sullivan, thank you for sharing your gift with so many for the past 16 years. You have grown from a tiny ballerina, to a beautiful and amazing talent. Your futures are bright, with endless possibilities! Best of luck from your RAD family!

Please keep Khalid Sanders and his family,in your thoughts and prayers as he mourns the loss of his father, who just passed on today after a battle with cancer. Your RAD family is holding you close in our hearts, and send you hugs and healing thoughts. Heaven has a new angel tonight!

RAD friends and family, please send healing thoughts and prayers to our own U*iel Acosta! He just had surgery today, and came through it well, but still will need more procedures and one more surgery over the next week. All off us at RAD wish U*i a speedy recovery.......❤
