What a week of learning and exploration! Our students were busy using calculators, giving presentations, counting coins, asking questions, and discovering new ways to make sense of their learning.
Our staff also took time to reflect and collaborate as we discussed and ranked what matters most when it comes to building strong, effective work teams. We know that when adults work together with purpose, our students benefit!
We ended the week with our first Spirit Day! Students proudly represented our school colors, Blue and Gold, as we came together to strengthen our school community.
Our Little and Big Buddies took on a fun challenge: How can we collect as many bean bags as possible without getting tagged by teachers' foam arms? Students had to think strategically, communicate with their buddies, reflect on their choices, and adjust their strategies along the way. It was a great way to put the IB Learner Profile and Approaches to Learning skills into action.
