Eason opened in 1994 and is one of eight elementary schools in the Waukee Community School District. We are located at 605 SE Boone Drive in the city of Waukee. Our school serves students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Eason is home to approximately 620 students living in the cit
ies of Waukee and Clive. Eason Elementary places student learning and helping each child reach his or her full potential as our primary focus. Our school also offers additional support services in the areas of Reading Lab, Special Education, and Extended Learning. With our strong emphasis on meeting the needs of all students through differentiated instruction and research-based practices, the students at Eason Elementary annually outperform their peers on state and national assessments. We believe that through teaching, modeling, and practicing, Eason students will show good character by demonstrating safe, caring, respectful, and responsible behaviors. We also believe that by acknowledging and recognizing students when they demonstrate those core values, will promote continued positive behavior.
