Waukee Community School District is looking for help for the Back-to-School Family Resource Fair!

Volunteer opportunities:

Stuffing fair bags
Monday, July 31
1:00-3:00pm
District Office
Placing fair flyers in bags for families to pick-up at the fair.

Fair set-up
Tuesday, August 1
12:00-3:00pm
Timberline School
Assist with setting up tables, chairs, rooms, signage, etc. for the fair to be held the following day.

Fair tear-down
Wednesday, August 2
6:45-9:30pm
Timberline School
Assist with putting away tables, chairs, signage, cleaning spaces, after the fair

Family Christmas - Saturday, December 3rd

Help us celebrate a day of holiday traditions filled with Christmas cheer! Visit sites in the 1876 Town of Walnut Hill to participate in the holiday traditions of a Victorian Midwestern family. While you’re here, do a little holiday shopping for unique gifts in the MarketPlace Museum Store. Living History Farms is the perfect place to celebrate the time-honored holiday traditions of the season.

Positions are available for volunteers 16 and older. Volunteers between the ages of 10 and 15 are welcome when accompanied by an adult volunteer.

The Northwest Royal Brigade and Waukee Warrior Regiment are co-hosting the State Marching Band Festival and Waukee Marching Invitational on Saturday, October 15th at WHS.
