🏃‍♀️🎉 IT’S ALMOST FUN RUN TIME! 🎉🏃‍♂️

Run for the Creek is TOMORROW! And there’s still time to get those donations in before our fundraiser comes to an end!

Did you know we still have several states left to color in? Students can color in a state on our map when they receive a donation from someone in that state! Let’s see how many states we can fill!

Our goal is $50,000, and every single donation helps support our Sugar Creek students and staff!

We’re currently at just 68% of students registered, so if you haven’t registered yet, there’s still time!

Students have already earned:
Keychains
Ice packs
Bowling coupons

And we’re just getting started!

When we reach $40,000:
Students get yard signs
Frozen treats for everyone!

When we reach our BIG $50,000 goal:
FOAM PARTY!
$100 for EVERY teacher to spend on their classroom!

Today we celebrated Iowa Local Food Day—a statewide celebration of food and farms from Iowa and across the Midwest! 🌽🍅🍎

Students enjoyed nachos with local ground beef and corn, steamed corn, tomatoes, and apples. Some of our students even helped serve the apples!

Our local foods came from producers in Iowa, Nebraska, and Minnesota:

📍 Sustainable Sanctuary: Missouri Valley, IA

It’s Fun Run Week! 🎉

Sugar Creek is just over halfway to our $50,000 goal and only 58% of our students are registered. The Fun Run helps provide so many great experiences for students and also helps teachers with things they need for their classrooms!
